Her love for film and storytelling began with fiction work, but she has since found her true passion in nonfiction storytelling.

Jaclyn Berry is finalizing her academic career at the University of Missouri. She will graduate in May 2022 from the Johnathan B. Murray Center for Documentary Journalism with her bachelor’s degree and a minor in Film Production.

Jaclyn has previously volunteered with Kansas City Film Fest International as a social media manager for their Facebook page during their 2021 online film festival where she worked directly with the Film Festival Coordinator. She also volunteered for the Columbia Missourian Newspaper as a freelance photographer.
